The main features of Russian foreign policy in the Middle East and North Africa in 2010-2014

The article considers the features of Russia's foreign policy in the Middle East and North Africa. The author discusses the role of Russia in major regional crises, including the civil war in Syria, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Iranian nuclear program. The article analyzes the main areas of economic, military-technical and energy cooperation of Russia with the countries of the Middle East and North Africa. The author also considers a number of barriers to intensification of Russian relations with the countries of the region.
