The main directions of improvement of anti-corruption activities of the customs authorities

The article discusses the features of the corruption component in the customs authorities. Based on the analysis of the dynamics of changes in the number of corruption-related criminal cases identified in the customs authorities, the main directions of anti-corruption activities in the customs authorities of the Russian Federation are considered. It is determined that in the customs sphere the risk of corruption lies in the failure to receive the amounts of taxes and fees to the federal budget. It negatively affects the integrity of the activities of customs authorities, compromises customs administration institutions, creates a negative image of customs officers in society and contributes to the development of an unhealthy moral and psychological situation in structural units.
