The article discusses the factors of thermal power effects on the elements of inductors used as a tool in magnetic-pulse processing. The characteristic reasons for their failure are given. The main directions of improving inductors are formulated to ensure their efficiency and resource. All directions are illustrated with specific examples. The creation of highly resistant inductors paves the way for the use of magnetic-pulse processing in mass production.
