The article presents the main directions of improving the state support system for Cinematography. It shows the analysis of domestic and foreign experiences of functioning of state support system for Cinematography abroad. It also gives the results of the comparative analysis of the domestic and foreign public support systems for Cinematography. Based on the data we developed a set of measures aimed at the domestic film industry development.
