The main approaches and methods of optimizing the activities of the educational and scientific structural unit of the Institute of Law of the National Research Mordovia State University named after N.P. Ogarev — law clinic

The content of the article is aimed at expanding the terminological horizons in the field of disclosure of the concept and the theoretical essence of approaches and methods for optimizing the activities of organizations providing legal consulting services. The object of research is the Educational and Scientific Structural Unit of the Institute of Law of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education «National Research Ogarev Mordovia State University» - “Law Clinic” (hereinafter referred to as the law clinic). The authors reveal the importance and content of optimizing the processes of the law clinic as the main direction for improving the efficiency of its work and improving the quality of services provided. The necessity of introducing modern approaches and methods of optimizing activities as the main tool for ensuring effective work in a dynamic and unpredictable business environment is substantiated. The article reveals the content of the main approaches to optimizing the activities of organizations engaged in legal consulting, namely: “lean operation”, “six sigma”, “process approach, as well as the introduction of modern information technologies. The issues of adaptation of the listed approaches to the activity of the research object are investigated. The article lists and describes the principles of the “lean operation” approach in relation to the provision of legal services. A critical analysis has been carried out and the advantages of each of the studied campaigns have been identified, which will significantly improve the quality and speed of legal services, optimize the use of resources, and ensure flexibility and adaptability of the main processes of the law clinic. The article pays special attention to the peculiarities that arise when combining approaches to optimizing the activities of the law clinic. At the end of the article, the authors formulate generalizing conclusions about the importance of choosing the most optimal approach to optimizing the activities of the law clinic or their combination that meets the needs of an economic entity.
