This article covers the fundamental aspects of leadership research in an organization through various methodological approaches. Theoretical, practical, and systemic approaches to studying leadership are explored. The theoretical approach encompasses the analysis of various leadership theories, such as transformational leadership, situational leadership, and the path-goal theory. The practical approach is based on studying real leaders and involves observations of their activities, methods, techniques, and feedback from colleagues and followers. The systemic approach considers leadership within the context of an organizational system, including factors influencing its effectiveness. Additionally, the article discusses methods for identifying leaders, including assessment and testing, emphasizing that this is an ongoing process within an organization. Reviewing these methods helps understand how companies can effectively develop leaders and their leadership qualities after identification.
