Basic provisions of the Code of the imam Shamil

In the territory of Dagestan within long years the special system of the right worked. It was based on the nizams (laws, provisions) developed by the Imam Shamil, the acts representing the code regulating various aspects of life of mountaineers and activity of jamia (local government, public representatives) both in a peace time and during the military period. Basic provisions of this code rely on local traditions, customs and on new instructions uniform, the general for all, in the territory of the North Caucasus, religion Islam as this religion only started extending at the beginning of XІX of an eyelid under leadership of various Imams. Only the Imam Shamil finished this business and created the general code of laws for the people of the North Caucasus. Some laws of this code continue to work to this day, along with Federal, Local laws of the Russian Federation. We will try to present some of them in this scientific work.
