The main points of mechanism for resource-innovative development of region

The paper defines and considers the characteristics of resource-innovative development as the optimal development strategy for a resource region. This strategy combines the use of natural resources and the benefits of innovative development. The paper analyzes the possibilities of resource-innovative development for the Krasnoyarsk Region, which is a typical resource-based region. The paper also suggests the mechanism for resource-innovative development of the region. This mechanism includes four main elements aimed at the innovative development of mining sector and increasing its socio-economic efficiency, the formation and development of high-tech service sector and processing productions, creation of conditions for increased business and innovative activity in the region.
