The basic concept of the Tuvan national pedagogics called kizhizidilge (the conventional translation of the word into the Russian language is education) has the word kizhi (man in Russian) in its root. The article considers the concept kizhi and its key derivatives as relating to the basic concepts of the Tuvan national pedagogics. According to the author, this concept reflects the sources of the traditional pedagogical knowledge of the Tuvinian and makes a special part in the content of the Tuvan national pedagogics at the present stage.
