The main problems and ways of development of large industrial production in Russia

The article is devoted to the analysis of the main problems of large - scale industrial production in Russia. The main subject of research was industry. The current state of industry can be characterized as a crisis, based on many external factors that affect its development. The article assesses all current problems and compares the major areas with the previous year 2017. The need for growth in this area requires a careful approach to solving each of the problems raised. The comparative data for 2018 are compared with those planned, according to the "Strategy 2020". The machine building industry in the agro - industrial complex and the world trend of development of this sphere in other countries are considered in more detail. The reasons for the impossibility of Russia's entry into the top five of the leading countries in terms of gross domestic product (GDP) are being studied. As a result, prospects for the development and modernization of industry in Russia were derived.
