Major problems of auditing in Russia

The work provides the definition of audit, the history of the Russian auditing, the numerous problems appeared at the market of auditing in Russia. An addition there is a list of the main conferences concerning this issue. The transition from the old standards of the attestation of auditors to the international ones is briefly described. Some features of the Siberian auditing market are given.
