Main product strategies of pharmaceutical goods producers such as development, production and marketing of original medicines and copying medicines having lost patent protection are considered in the article. As a result of the analysis of drawbacks of the mentioned ways for the development of a combined product strategy adapted to the possibilities of the majority of domestic producers is offered. The strategy will allow increasing their competitive ability.
