Main trends of agricultural land use in the Rostov region and tools for its intensification

The article examines the dynamics of the area of agricultural land in the Rostov region in 2020-2022, identifies the scale of the technogenic-anthropogenic impact of agricultural land users, in particular, the indicators for the application of pesticides in the open ground of agricultural land are established, and the main trends in the use of agricultural land in the region are identified. Proposals for the formation of conditions for the introduction of an adaptive landscape format for the exploitation of soil and land potential are substantiated. A proposal has been substantiated to create a coordinating body under the authorized body of state power of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation, which would develop, taking into account the opinions of the scientific and business community, municipalities, recommendations for adjusting the state agricultural policy of the region in terms of managing land resources for agricultural purposes. The results of the study can be used by government authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the formation of state agricultural policy, preparation and implementation of programs to stimulate agricultural production, as well as reducing anthropogenic impact on land.
