The main trends of changes in the nature of the formation of surface runoff in the territories of various physical and geographical regions of the Republic of Tatarstan

The prerequisite for studying the trend of surface runoff formation on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan is the need to solve the problems of fundamental science, in particular, to identify patterns of spatial-temporal geomorphological transformations and their interrelations with the transformation of the daytime surface. The practical significance of the research is due to the increased interest in developing measures to regulate water use standards in order to preserve the water balance in the natural environment. The growing demand for water resources and the excess of the normative discharge of wastewater observed in the last century against the background of climatic anomalies have led not only to a quantitative imbalance in the formation of water resources, but also to significant qualitative changes in the composition of natural waters, violations of the mechanisms of biocenotic self-regulation and self-purification of the environment. The article presents the main nuances of the redistribution of water content in individual physical and geographical zones of the territory of the republic.
