Main trends in development and relationship of man and society: cultural-values guidance

The article examines the essence and main trends in the interaction of man and society, reveals in detail the concepts of “society”, “social relations”, “social life”, in which a person’s life activity and his spiritual world are formed. The author examines in detail the process of human life, defines its main parameters: lifestyle, lifestyle, standard of living, lifestyle, lifestyle culture, spiritual life, spiritual culture. Particular attention is paid to the concept of «cultural code» of humanity, society and personality, the development of the individual’s abilities to create material and cultural values. The author defines culture as a value fund of society and as a sphere of creative activity of an individual. The issues of interaction and mutual influence of culture and world religions in the spiritual life of mankind, the possibility of functioning of culture in the structure of these religions are announced. The author draws attention to the recent emergence of conflict situations in the world community and the possibility of overcoming them, and comes to the conclusion that culture is capable of consolidating society and can become the defining direction of the strategy for protecting and preserving world civilization and humanity.
