The main trends in formation of the power structures in the Russian Federation in the 1990s

The paper examines the main trends in the development of power structures in the 1990s including reduction of the number of personnel, reduction of funding, disintegration, formation of the statutory boundaries of their activities. These trends manifested in the circumstances of increasing mistrust of the political leadership of the Russian Federation to the power structures inherited from the USSR.
