The paper presents the main states of the developed Additional Finite Element Method (AFEM) destined for design of reinforced concrete structures at limit states. The paper shows the way of solving of some problems in nonlinear design. These problems were included in the report "Actual problems of nonlinear design of reinforced concrete structures" delivered by the author at the conference of scientific council of Russian Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering "Software for Architecture and Civil Engineering". 26 November 2008.
