Currently, digital communications of electoral bodies with citizens are of great importance for ensuring the openness of the electoral system, as well as for building trust with the audience, including young people. The article presents the results of the analysis of the audience of the Russian Federation electoral commission system in social media using the example of the network of digital communities of electoral commissions and youth electoral commissions in the social network VKontakte (N = 1 020). The authors identify several blocks of parameters for the analysis: socio-demographic, value-ideological, network ones. The results of the analysis make it possible to identify the main characteristics of the digital audience of Russian electoral commissions, as well as to compare the indicators of digital communities directly related to electoral commissions, as well as to youth electoral commissions.
