Specific features of marital relations in Balkar families in the second half of the XX - early XXI centuries

The article studies marital relations in Balkar families during the period of 1950-s - early XXI centuries. Based upon the ethno-sociological and field researches, the author discusses how socio-economic and ethno-cultural factors influenced gender relations and demographic development of the Balkars.
