Activities of special police forces when performing special missions in the mountains

The article defines the specifics of missions accomplished by special police forces in the mountains. It has been established that the objectives of the aforesaid units is to prevent the encirclement and destroy outflanking enemy units with fire. The author defines the main features of special operations in the mountains in winter. Particular attention is drawn to the importance of timely and full provision of fighters with ammunition, fuel and greasing substance, food, water and so on, which is the task of the unit commanders.
