Features of the activities of environmental prosecutor's offices at the present stage

the article is devoted to the activities of specialized environmental prosecutor's offices on the territory of the russian federation. the place of environmental prosecutor's offices in the system of public law regulatory bodies is determined. the structure of the nature protection prosecutor's offices operating on the territory of the russian federation at the present time is given. the author presents the results of testing prosecutor's employees on the future activities of environmental prosecutor's offices. the features of the organization of the activities of specialized environmental prosecutor's offices and their differences from the territorial prosecutor's offices are considered. materials and methods: the normative basis of the study is the provisions of the federal law of the russian federation of 17.01.1992 n 2202-1 "on the prosecutor's office of the russian federation", organizational and administrative documents of the prosecutor general's office of the russian federation, scientific research in the field of prosecutorial supervision. the methodological basis of the research was the dialectical method of scientific cognition, as well as methods of deduction, induction, cognitive methods, methods of comparison, analysis and generalization. the results of the study: allowed to identify the features of the activities of environmental prosecutor's offices and their role in ensuring environmental safety at the present stage, as well as to formulate proposals for improving the organizational forms of environmental prosecutor's offices and law enforcement agencies. findings and conclusions: the author comes to the conclusion that the development of the institute of environmental prosecutor's offices by creating interregional environmental prosecutor's offices throughout the russian federation on the rights of the prosecutor's offices of the subjects will contribute to the most effective solution of state tasks in the field of environmental safety and the realization of the right to a favorable environment. in addition, according to the author, the most effective counteraction to environmental crime can be provided after the revival of the institute of environmental police.
