The article discusses the specifics of children’s and teenage broadcasting on Volgograd 24, MTV, Volgograd 1 TV channels. The experience of creating programs for children and adolescents by Volgograd TV channels is generalized. The thematic and genre identity of children’s and youth programs is analyzed. Specific features and main trends in the development of children’s television in Volgograd region are revealed.
