Peculiarities of diagnostics of chronic adenoiditis associated with otitis media with effusion

The paper presents the results of a survey among 45 children aged from 3 to 7 years with a diagnosis of chronic adenoiditis. In all cases, the disease was accompanied by otitis media with effusion. Discharge from the nose and the tympanum is suggested to be used as an additional diagnostic criterion through the modified method of thesiography. On the basis of the examination, diagnostic criteria of the stages of otitis media with effusion were obtained, besides, symptoms of chronic adenoiditis were spotted by a non-invasive method.
