Features of the demographic dynamics in Tver region

Analysis of some demographic parameter (shares of age groups in the total population, mortality coefficient, and birthrate coefficient) reveals rather unstable social and demographic situation in Tver Region. This situation is caused by the high percentage of the mature and senile people, as well as by the high mortality rate of the able-bodied people in the villages and small cities. Pathologies, which require the surgical treatment, dominate in the structure of the mortality.
