Peculiarities of interrogation of the hidden participant of pre-trial proceedings in a criminal case

Introduction: the article discusses the features of the interrogation of a hidden (anonymous) participant in pre-trial proceedings in a criminal case. The main attention is paid to the organization and tactics of interrogation of the protected person under a pseudonym. The author substantiates proposals for improving the tactical provision of the interrogation of the protected person as a hidden participant in the investigative action. Materials and Methods: in the course of the study, as the main method for solving the problem under consideration, the method of generalization and comparative analysis of theoretical provisions on the topic under study was used, which allowed the author to formulate a forensic mechanism of the tasks to be solved when interrogating a protected person under a pseudonym. In addition, special research methods were used (systemic, comparative-legal, normative-logical). Results: tactics are identified that, in the author's opinion, it is advisable to apply during the interrogation of a hidden (anonymous) participant in an investigative action. It is argued that ensuring the safety of the protected person during interrogation is a prerequisite for conducting an investigative action in a conflict-free situation. Attention is focused on tactical recommendations aimed at keeping the personal data of the interrogated protected person secret. Discussion and Conclusions: the practical recommendations proposed in the article are designed to improve the procedure for making tactical decisions aimed at maintaining a sufficient level of security of the interrogated hidden participant in the process.
