Features, factors and problems of digitalization in the development of the country’s regions

The article argues for the need to develop digitalization within the framework of the development of the country's regions. The conditions that contribute to the formation of digital infrastructure are identified: compliance with security conditions; solving problems related to the lack of qualified personnel, lack of funding, the presence of digital inequality, lack of uniformity of regional development, taking into account digitalization, and related to the number of costs going into this area. The necessity of a comprehensive study of three main trends is substantiated: ensuring the elimination of administrative barriers that hinder the development of the digital economy in the region; stimulating innovative and informational development of regions; increasing the level of digital literacy of the population in order to adapt them to new economic realities. The study concludes that the systematic development of digital infrastructure and the use of digital technologies at the regional level requires financial resources, a favorable investment climate and human capital to achieve high performance.
