The specific features of development of geographical skills while studying geography at school

The article deals with the peculiarities of the development of the geographical skills of the schoolchildren at the lessons of Geography and the extracurricular activities. There are revealed the methodological peculiarities of the realization of the lesson practical works in the classroom and in the field. There is described the organization of the Geography week, directed to the actualization, usage and development of the skills, acquired in the context of the classroom activities.
