Features of IT knowledge during training specialists for the data economy

It is shown that the market needs for IT specialists exceed the available resources by 1.5-2 times. The Government of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education are constantly increasing the target figures for the admission for IT and are implementing the project "Digital Departments". It is proposed to use an integrated approach for educating students of non-IT specialties. An integrated approach ensures mastery of IT instrumental skills with a profound study of student's subject area. It is shown that one of the effective tools for modernizing educational programs for training IT specialists is data-centric pedagogical design.
