Features of formation of cavitational cavities in centrifugal high-sided pump

Features of cavitational processes in a flowing part of high-sided centrifugal pump are considered. On the basis of high-speed registration on visualization of formation of cavitational cavities, the experimental materials describing the form, volume and parameters of development кавитационной to a cavity, are presented. Dependence of change of volume of a cavity, during work of centrifugal pump in a range of the parameters describing stalling mode of a pump unit and following it cavitational self-oscillations in hydro-system of a liquid rocket engine, is obtained.
