Features of formation of medical terminologu in the ХIХ century

The nineteenth century for medical terminology is a stage of formation. During this period, medical terminology was actively supplemented with new elements. One of the main ways of supplement was metaphorization of vocabulary. Words from everyday language, changing its meaning, passed into the language of science and became terms. In the future, some terms were fixed and became elements of medical terminology, and other terms have not been kept and disappeared for different reasons.
