Peculiarities of formation of regional development strategies

Article is devoted to the topical theme of unadequate use in the Russian legislation of basic terms related to the strategic management of regions. Therefore, the result of the implementation of these strategies in practice leaves much to be desired. A separate section in the article is devoted to the absence in the Russian legislation unified interpretation of the concept of «region», which further exacerbates the problems of formation of territorial strategies.
