This article discusses the possibility of using heat-resistant Nickel powder materials such as VPR as a wear-resistant cladding applied by means of laser pulsed radiation. An original method of recovery cladding is proposed, which allows to repair and modify the wear-resistant characteristics of the rotor blades of gas turbine engines (hereinafter - GTE) with high economic efficiency. On the basis of the carried out comparative researches including the analysis on the raster scanning electron microscope, research of world-hardness, tests of abrasive durability of materials.
