Features of the functioning of business incubators in the Republic of Dagestan and prospects for their development

The work is devoted to the study of the organizational and economic foundations of the functioning of business incubators in the region. The concept, essence and role of business incubators in the development of small business is disclosed. The business incubator is considered not only the object of infrastructure support for small businesses, supporting entrepreneurs at the initial stage of their activities by providing a wide range of services, but also as a tool for improving and promoting the business, especially at the initial stage of the start-up company. The current trends in the development of business incubators in Russia, which act as a form of support for small business in the regions, have been studied. These structures contribute to the growth of the number of small enterprises, the improvement of the investment climate in the region, the introduction of new technologies, the innovative development of the hotel industry and the economy of the region as a whole, the growth of economic activity and the solution of socio-economic problems. The analysis of the effectiveness of the operation of business incubators in Dagestan; proposed methodological and practical recommendations for its improvement.
