Abstact. In an ultra-high-frequency electrical installation with a hybrid-type chamber, using ultra-high-frequency electromagnetic energy, it is possible to carry out thermal modification of dielectric materials and non-thermal modification of polymer materials, because of which the properties and parameters of the processed objects change faster and more uniformly than when heated by traditional methods. The paper proposes the design of an ultra-high-frequency electrotechnical installation with a hybrid-type working chamber. This design makes it possible to simultaneously carry out non-thermal microwave modification of a polymer material and thermal microwave modification of a dielectric material in one installation. A microwave electrotechnical installation with a hybrid-type working chamber is cheaper and takes up less space in comparison with two separate installations that produce the same products with the same productivity in total. The installation has the maximum efficiency, maximum energy and worthy of economic efficiency, which determines its use.
