Features of state regulation in the field of physical culture and sports

The article raises a pressing issue related to state regulation in the sphere of physical culture and sports in the Russian Federation. The analysis of scientific and methodological sources has been conducted, which has shown the need to take into account industry specifics when improving state regulation in the sphere of physical culture and sports. The interventionist model of regulating active state participation in sports management, as well as in the activities of sports organizations, is considered. The main elements of the mechanism for implementing state policy, as well as the main factors influencing state management in the sphere of physical culture and sports are identified.
