The authors analyzed the results of surgical treatment of 125 patients with echinococcosis of the liver of the subphrenic surface. The lesion of the right lobe was diagnosed in 84 (67.2%) patients. At the same time, the most frequent localization of EC was noted in segment VIII - 56 (44.8%). The left lobe of the liver was affected in 26 (20.8%) patients, while the lesion of the II segment and the small pelvis in 10 (8%), the lesion of the I segment was diagnosed in 16 patients. The defeat of both lobes (VIII-I-II) of the segments was diagnosed in 15 (12%) cases. The authors conclude that the optimal surgical access makes it possible to carry out an adequate operation on the posterior surface of the liver and consider performing organ-preserving operations a priority.
