Features and directions of research on volunteer activities in the Russian Federation

The article presents an analysis of problematic aspects related to the study of volunteer activity in the Russian Federation. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of volunteers in various scientific fields are systematized. Terminological and conceptual difficulties arising in the study of this phenomenon are highlighted. Features and potential directions for the development of scientific research are determined.
