The features and specific character of tactical actions of police units when securing public order at mass events

The article analyses special features of the internal affairs bodies' activities during public events, the main purpose of which is to ensure protection of health and life of citizens. The author presents classification of mass events according to various grounds, establishes the causes of tensions during the events execution. The paper considers the basic tactical course of actions of police units, lists the peculiarities of deploying of police forces and the means of public order support.
