Features and methods of drawing up an accident scheme

This paper describes the main methods and principles of constructing an accident site diagram. The diagrams of the accident site leave much to be desired. They are absolutely unsuitable for conducting transport and tracological studies in order to identify the circumstances of the accident. Therefore, there is a need to improve the skills of employees responsible for the registration and investigation of accidents in the process of shipbuilding regarding the creation of accident site diagrams by these employees. The article should help them to draw up diagrams of the accident site more correctly, so that specialists could objectively reproduce the algorithm and the circumstances of the accident during the implementation of transport and tracological research.
