The specifics of UDC indexing of documents on the food and processing industry in the CSAL (on the example of processing animal products) have been considered. Examples of processing literature in this subject area using UDC Industry Work Tables for agribusiness (IWT) are given. The need to improve the IWT, as well as operations being conducted in this direction, is emphasized.
