Features of political information and communication space in modern Russia

The rapid development of information and communication technologies in the late XX and early XXI centuries had a profound impact on various aspects of society, including public policy actors, which gradually began to move into the online space, thus acquiring new channels of political communication. The article presents the distinctive features of information and communication space of Russian policy and examines the transformation of the political processes in the context of the changing media system. The author concludes that the feedback mechanism through the use of network communication services (web 2.0) is the key instrument in the process of forming up political brands under the conditions of changing media system.
