The introduction of alien fruit and berry crops into agrocoenosis is one of the ways to increase their productivity and stability. It also helps to diversify the food for the population and enrich the food with amino acids, vitamins and microelements. The purpose of the research was to study the features of the introduction of Actinidia kolomikta . Actinidia kolomikta is a dioecious berry plant that grows in the form of a woody vine. The introduced plant has fruits not only with good taste and high content of nutrients, but also with a pleasant decorative appearance which is caused by changing color of foliage. It makes a plant promising for the use in the landscape design. In order to obtain a vital generation in the conditions of the Orel region, the aspects of adaptation of Actinidia kolomikta seedlings in the conditions of the farm "Rusichi" in the Trosna district were discussed. The trial confirms the opportunity of obtaining ball-rooted seedlings of the introduced plant by herbaceous cuttings in tunnel greenhouses. The survival index is 85% and pest infestation by Deroceras agreste is 1%. The seedlings form a powerful root system within the schedule and during the first vegetative period grow for at least 13 cm, which meets the standards. The article describes some features of planting and cultivation of Actinidia kolomikta productional gardens on private farms and cultivation of the plant on small adjacent plots. The analysis of economic prospects of Actinidia kolomikta planting material production showed that the profitability of production of its 3-year-old seedlings equals 71%, while at the market the price of one seedling equals 350 rubles.
