Features of investment processes in the sanatorium industry of the Krasnodar territory

The paper presents an overview of the activities of the sanatorium-resort complex of the Krasnodar Territory. Statistical data on the work of this sector of the regional economy in recent years are analyzed. Economic and statistical indicators such as the share of gross value added of the sanatorium-resort complex in the gross regional product, fluctuations in the total number of tourists in the region for 2019-2022, the dynamics of the number of tourist accommodation facilities, the share of the region’s population employed in the sanatorium-resort industry are considered. The prospects of investing in the industry of financial resources, the implementation of large infrastructure projects, the implementation of which will contribute to the growth of the performance of the industry, are considered. The dependence of the increase in the volume of investment in the industry associated with the current economic and political processes in the state is analyzed. Options for investing financial resources in various segments of the tourism industry of the Krasnodar Territory are proposed. The provisions of the Concept of the development of the sanatorium-resort and tourist complex of the Krasnodar Territory for the period up to 2030, according to which this branch of the regional economy is currently developing, are considered.
