On the issues of investing in human capital

The development of the material and technical base of production created the illusion of the superiority of physical capital over human capital in ensuring economic growth. In recent decades, the situation has changed. Modern man and his industrial activity occupy a central place in the economic and social sciences. Many researchers have addressed the problems related to the purpose of man, his productive abilities, intellectual capabilities, and place in the economy, the modernization of which is largely determined by the processes of formation and development of human capital. The article considers the problems of the formation of the categorical apparatus of the actual phenomenon - "human capital". Some issues of investing in human capital are analyzed.
