The article studies the features of corporate culture. The author discusses if the corporate culture may be regarded as a social phenomenon requiring thorough consideration, and what way various theories influence its development (for example, the theory of human relations gave rise to its growth). The analysis of the foreign and domestic researches shows functional aspects of the corporate culture. The corporate culture is considered as a sociocultural field and a mechanism of corporate relations management.
