The peculiarities of the historical development of population in Mongolian and South Transbaikalyian steppe areas in the bronze era and the early iron age (the middle of the II middle of the I millennium b.c.)

The particularities of historical development of the population of steppes of Southern Zabaykalye, Eastern and Central Mongolia and the adjacent regions of China during the Bronze era and the early Iron age in comparison with the other areas of the Euroasian steppes zone have been shown in the article. It concluded in the transition from the Bronze to the early Iron age, there was no transformation of material and spiritual culture which in the areas located to the West from Central Asia, was expressed in the termination of the development of late Bronze age archaeological cultures and formation of new cultures of the Scythian-Siberian type. The reasons of this feature are revealed.
