Peculiarities of the ethnic and social stratification in Siberian republics under the conditions of socio-economical transformations in the end of the XX - the beginning of the XXI centuries are considered; statistical data are used; results of the sociological researches conducted by the author in 2009 at the republics of Tuva and Buryatia are analyzed in the paper.
