Life quality in patients with postoperative hypothyreosis

Бесплатный доступ

A total of 105 patients operated on for thyroid lesions were examined. Of them, there were 97 women and 8 men aged from 28 to 60 years (median age 44,2 ± 2,5 years). The inverse correlation between the rates of life quality and the extent of surgery was found. Significant relationship between life quality and thyroid status was observed. The adequate correction of life quality of patients operated on for thyroid lesions should be an integral component of the treatment schedule.
