Karyotype of Korean field mouse (Apodemus peninsulae) populations in Alkhanay national park (Eastern Transbaikalia) was studied. Population of Korean filed mouse from Alkhanay Park, with populations from Sretensky, Baley and Borzinsky districts of Zabaikalskiy krai, as well as Sokhondinsky reserve and in the north of Vitim plateau, are part of metapopulation of Eastern Transbaikalia, which is characterized by the presence 1-2 macro- and micro-2-8-B-chromosome in the karyotype. Divided by considerable geographical barriers, metapopulations of Korean field mouse of Southern Transbaikalia and East Transbaikalia find similar features in karyotype. Preliminary conclusions on migration directions and process of differentiation of A. peninsulae populations in Siberia and Russian Far East are discussed. It is supposed that the structure of A. peninsulae populations within extensive range wasn't so strongly differentiated. Perhaps, numerous impacts of climatic changes and geograph ical barriers in the past considerably affected molecular and cytogenetic (B-chromosomes) structure of Korean field mouse, especially in Siberia.
