The article presents the results of a study of of clinical and psychological characteristics and the quality of life of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). Рatients with CHF have a higher comorbidity; chronic kidney disease (CKD) is prevalent in the structure of comorbidity. CKD in patients with chronic heart failure increases anxiety and depression, exacerbates emotional discomfort. CKD leads to quality of life, both in the physical and psychological aspects. CKD significantly impacts on clinical course and the quality of life in patients with chronic heart failure, as confirmed by these results.
